Virat Kohli was born on 5 November 1988 in Delhi in a Punjabi family. Her father Prem Kohli is a criminal lawyer and mother Saroj Kohli is a housewife. She also has an elder brother Vikash and an elder sister Bhavna. According to his family, when Kohli was 3 years old, he took a cricket bat in his hand, and asked his father to bowl.

After that for the Champions Trophy 2017, BCCI published an advertisement for the post of men’s Indian cricket team coach, which made Anil very sad and he decided to terminate his coaching job on 21 June 2017.
